You will be responsible for leading and managing all paid media campaigns, including paid search, display, and social advertising, to achieve the company’s marketing objectives. To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of digital advertising technologies, media buying strategies, and data analysis to ensure effective campaign performance and delivery. As the Lead on all things Paid Media, you will guide a team of specialists, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive paid media strategies that align with broader marketing objectives and drive business growth.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of paid media specialists, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and management of paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, social media platforms, and other relevant channels.
- Budget Management: Oversee and allocate budgets across campaigns, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximum ROI.
- Performance Analysis: Perform higher-level data analysis, setting benchmarks, and establishing KPIs for the team.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to integrate paid media efforts with broader marketing and business strategies.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and platforms, negotiating contracts and services.
- Reporting to Senior Management: Present campaign performance and strategic insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Innovation and Development: Drive innovation in paid media strategies, ensuring the team adopts the latest trends and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in successfully managing and mentoring a team.
- Proven experience in managing and leading paid media campaigns, preferably within an agency or in-house digital marketing team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrable experience in optimising campaigns to achieve specific performance targets.
- Excellent understanding of keyword research, bid management, ad copywriting, and overall media buying strategies.
- Deep knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimisation techniques.
- Experience in creating and presenting detailed performance reports.
- Google Ads Certification is highly desirable.
- Additional certifications in digital marketing, such as Microsoft Advertising Certification, are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
