Key Responsibilities:
- Builds strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals, and ensuring their social media strategies align with their overall objectives.
- Leads the development and execution of social campaigns (organic and paid) across various platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and others)
- Mentors, trains and inspires junior team members
- Collaborates with creative teams to develop engaging and innovative content that is on brand and fit for channel
- Builds and executes appropriate talent strategies, identifying the right influencers and creators to bring ideas to life, leading negotiations and deliverables
- Oversees content planning, community management and social reporting
- Works closely with media teams to ensure paid media is optimized to amplify content and influencer effectively
- Stays on top of social trends, cultural moments, and platform-specific best practices, sharing new developments with the broader team
- Helps drive new and organic client growth by spotting revenue opportunities with existing clients and supporting on new business pitches when required
- Scopes projects ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure project profitability
- Can effectively manage up, knowing when to involve the Managing Partner and what to keep them across.
- At least 5 years proven experience in a social media position, with the majority of that time in an agency environment
- Exceptional client management skills with the ability to earn trust and build cohesive partnerships
- Experience building and implementing organic and paid social media strategy, content and campaigns
- Experienced in Influencer Partnerships both from a campaign and talent sourcing/ negotiation perspective
- Social listening and analytics skills
- Keen organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
